私は元気ですよ、でも年末で 仕事に家庭に忙しくしておりま～す 
Sorry that I have not updated the blog for a while I'm OK, just have been busy with housework & translation job at this time of the year
さて、いろんなジャンルの音楽を聞くことが大好きな私ですが、多分 私の音楽好きのベースとなっているのは「カントリー」だと思います。日本では割と古いタイプのカントリーミュージックがお店なんかで流れていますが、カントリーにも いろんなテイストがあるんですよ、ちなみに私が好きなのはカントリーポップ（かつてのテイラースウィフトもこのジャンルでした）
Well, you know, I love to listen to many genres of music, but I think my enthusiasm for music is based on country music
Especially, I like county pop 
なんでカントリーが好き？カンザスに留学してた影響かな…？あの頃（20年以上前です）カントリーミュージックが普通に流れてたもんな～。みんなで「エイキー・ブレイキー・ハート」とか 列を作って踊ってたし～
当時の雰囲気は 以下のMVを見てもらったら分かるよ（笑）あと、ドリー・パートンも大好きだったし、その影響もあるかも…。まあ、理由は何であれ カントリーミュージックは 私が一番心地よく聞ける音楽のジャンルであることに間違いないでしょう 
Why do I like country music? Well, I once (more than 20 years ago) lived and studied in Kansas which might be one of the reasons, maybe, where I had more chances to be exposed to country music than urban cities on west & east coasts and people enjoyed dancing with country music such as Achy Breaky Heart
Also, I like Dolly Parton 
Anyway, I can say that I am very comfortable with country music 
先日、ふと 興味深いカントリーの曲を見つけたんです
調べてみたら、往年のカントリーミュージックのスターたちがメドレーで曲を歌っているではありませんか！そのメンツの凄さと、懐かしい感覚とで嬉しい気持ちでいっぱいになりました 曲はみんなが知っている「Take Me Home, Country Roads」から始まります
Well, the other day, I found an interesting country song which involves many old & new top country singers as a medley and makes me feel happy and even nostalgic 
This song starts with a well-known "Take Me Home, Country Roads"
カントリーミュージックの良さを再認識し、最近は 改めてまた カントリーミュージックをよく聞いてます。留学から帰国した直後、当時はなかなか最新のカントリーミュージックを聞けずに ストレスがたまっていましたが、今ではYouTubeで何でも聞けるから、便利になりましたね
This song reminds me how good and attractive country music is and makes me a country music fan again. Once it was really difficult to find CDs of country pop music in Japan, since it had a small market here, but in this day and age, we can find any kind of music on YouTube, what a convenient world
今の時期はブレイク・シェルトンのこのアルバムもお勧めです（リリースは数年前の曲ですが…）
カントリーのホリデーミュージック、味があっていいですよ 
This is also recommended for a holiday season; Cheers, It's Christmas by Blake Shelton, country Christmas songs (released some years ago)
